I'm an independent publisher of hardware buying guides. I'm not a sauna builder, electrician or healthcare professional, and I don't claim to be. My job is narrower: gather what manufacturers actually publish about their products (dimensions, materials, heater and chiller output, electrical requirements, warranties and prices), put it side by side, and point out where sources disagree.

Saunas and cold plunges are expensive purchases with real installation work. Most product pages lead with lifestyle photos. These guides lead with the details that decide whether a unit fits your space, your electrical panel and your budget.

Editorial standards

Manufacturer sources first. Specs come from the manufacturer's product pages, spec sheets, manuals and warranty documents. When we use a retailer page instead, we say so. Every guide lists the date specs and prices were checked.
Disagreements are flagged. When a maker's page and a retailer's listing disagree, we use the manufacturer's current figure and note the difference.
No health claims. We cover hardware, installation and cost. We don't make medical or health claims, and nothing here is medical advice. Ask a qualified healthcare professional whether heat or cold exposure is right for you.
Electrical work goes to professionals. We summarize published electrical requirements, but your electrician and local code decide breaker size, wiring and permits.
Affiliate links are disclosed. Some links earn a commission if you buy. That never decides whether a product is included or how it's ranked, and we link to products without affiliate programs when they belong in a comparison. See the affiliate disclosure.
Prices go stale. We re-check listed prices periodically, but always confirm on the seller's page before buying.
Corrections. If you spot an outdated spec or price, email us and we'll check it against the source and update the page.
